Karen Bouchard is a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant with 17 years of clinical experience, including over 8 years specializing in general surgery, colorectal surgery, and surgical oncology, as well as 8 years of extensive experience as an Aesthetic Physician Assistant. She graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at South University in 2008 and has since dedicated her career to combining science and artistry in patient care.
Before pursuing medicine, Karen studied graphic design and art, cultivating a keen eye for aesthetics and creativity. This background in art has become a foundational element of her practice, enabling her to deliver customized treatments with precision and artistic vision. Her ability to harmonize technical expertise with an artistic approach has earned her a reputation for creating beautiful, natural-looking results that enhance her patients’ confidence.
Karen has received advanced, one-on-one training in plastic surgery and dermatology, along with specialized instruction from leading aesthetic injection trainers across the country. As a top 1% Elite provider nationally and a Certified Master Injector with Advanced Cannula Training, Karen is recognized as a leader in her field. Dr. Barbara L. Davies is a highly respected, board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and the esteemed Medical Director at Savvy Skin Medical Aesthetics with Savelevé. With a distinguished career spanning decades, Dr. Davies has become an integral part of our practice, known for her unwavering commitment to excellence in both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, Dr. Davies completed most of her education and training in her home state. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Pennsylvania State University and her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where she served as Vice President of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.
Following medical school, she completed five years of General Surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and advanced her specialization with a Plastic Surgery residency at The Ohio State University Hospitals.
Dr. Davies is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The Aesthetic Society (American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, ASAPS), playing a vital role in the Women’s Caucus of both organizations.
Throughout her career, Dr. Davies has skillfully maintained a broad-spectrum practice, excelling in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Marissa is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of nursing experience and eight years devoted to aesthetic medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from College of Coastal Georgia and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Augusta University at the Medical College of Georgia. Known for her meticulous technique and eye for natural, refined results, she offers a comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation, including dermal fillers, neurotoxin treatments, PRP therapies, and advanced laser services.
Marissa’s philosophy is rooted in patient trust and subtle enhancement—elevating each individual’s natural features while maintaining balance and harmony. Mackenzy Tomlin is a compassionate and skilled Licensed Esthetician who graduated from Advanced Aesthetics Academy in South Carolina, where she gained in-depth training in treating various skin conditions and caring for all skin types.
Her personal journey with acne and scarring inspired her to pursue a career in skincare, driven by a desire to help others achieve confidence in their own skin. With over 18 years of progressive experience in healthcare, she has built a strong foundation as a nurse, advanced into a clinical manager role, and now serves as a Practice Manager. She has over 3 years in the administrative role. Her diverse background spans surgical oncology, colon and rectal surgery, general surgery, women’s care services, and adult primary care.
Jennifer brings a strategic and operational mindset to healthcare leadership. She has a focus on commitment to optimizing workflows, driving organizational growth, and enhancing the overall patient experience. She oversees day-to-day business operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. She ensures efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Originally from the Atlanta Metropolitan area, Megan relocated to Savannah in the fall of 2017. With a long-standing passion for aesthetics and the beauty industry, she discovered her true calling in skincare while working in dermatology, where she developed a deep appreciation for skin health and wellness.
Currently serving as one of our exceptional Patient Care Coordinators, Megan’s warmth, professionalism, and dedication are evident in everything she does. As a Licensed Esthetician, she brings extensive knowledge about skincare to her role, making her a trusted resource for answering questions, offering personalized recommendations, and helping patients feel confident in their aesthetic decisions.

That love for style and self expression seamlessly transitioned into the world of aesthetics, where confidence begins with feeling comfortable in your own skin.
As our Front Desk Coordinator, MaryAnsley is often the first point of contact for patients and takes pride in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience from start to finish. Her warm personality and genuine care help set the tone for every visit, ensuring patients feel valued and at ease the moment they walk through the door.

Anna is one of our lovely and talented Medical Assistants here at Savelevé Medical Aesthetics. She is a Savannah native, and a high school graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy. She is a recent college graduate of Georgia Southern University (Hail Southern!) where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her Corgi-German Shepard, who she loves talking about!
She is currently working towards earning her patient care hours so she can pursue her dream of becoming a Physician Assistant. She is very excited for the opportunity for learning and growing in the aesthetics field while continuing to pursue her dream career!
Alexandria is one of our lovely and talented Medical Assistants here at Savelevé Medical Aesthetics! She was born and raised in Tifton, Georgia and recently moved to Savannah for her husband to start his medical school journey.
She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Biology from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and just recently earned her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine South Georgia. During her time there, she developed a strong foundation in medicine and patient care.
She is currently working toward gaining clinical experience as she prepares to apply to Physician Assistant school, with the goal of building a career centered around helping others feel confident and cared for. She has a passion for aesthetics & loves being part of a team that helps patients look and feel their best! Holly Murphy is the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator here at SavEleve Medical Aesthetics. Originally from Alabama, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Auburn University (War Eagle!) – As well as her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology. She made the move to Georgia in 2020, and is so happy to now call Savannah home!
She has spent a majority of her professional career working in managerial positions, ranging from aesthetics to defense contracting for the Government. Her love for health, wellness, and all things beauty related has brought her back to her first love – the field of aesthetics. She is passionate about helping people feel confident in their skin and loves being able to combine that passion with creativity to bring the vision and results to life on social media.
Other than work, she also homeschools her 3 daughters, and is very active in her local church. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading a good book, soaking up nature, and enjoying time with friends!
